About the artist
Meet Claire, the creative force behind every design at ma peau.
A Blue Mountains-based artist with a deep love for nature, flowers, and cats, Claire’s passion for the arts has been a lifelong journey.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Creative Direction, from the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney.
From a young age, Claire’s eye for design and styling was clear—she launched her first second-hand e-commerce store at just 16 in the beachside town of Port Macquarie. Today, her inspiration comes from the vibrant natural beauty of her everyday life in the Blue Mountains, where she spends her time tending to her garden and caring for her 19 rescue cats. Her unique artistic vision is also shaped by a childhood spent traveling and living around the world, bringing a global influence to her work.
